The Bartletts will begin a series of free lectures for area residents beginning Thursday, January 27th, 2005. The series will address diverse topics such as: worldviews, mathematics, dating, entrepreneurship, secularization, home education, engineering, writing, history, college accreditation, health systems, economics, population decline, political strategy, jury duty, computers, and others. Each lecture title, time and location will be announced in the local newspapers. Attendees can pick and choose the lectures of interest and need not attend the entire series. This first lecture will explain how everyone has a worldview, an interpretive framework through which one makes sense of the data of life. Thirteen different worldviews will be compared and the attendees will be given a free 20 question personal worldview test to learn which worldviews they live by. Progeny! The worldview board game will also be demonstrated.
